WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS DOCUMENT?

The privacy policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the www.worldwidenanny-uk.com website, and how we use your data.
Worldwide Nanny’s Limited is a “Data controller”. Therefore, we are responsible for the way we hold and use personal data about you, as you are applying for positions that we advertise on behalf of our clients. It makes you aware of how and why your personal data will be used during the recruitment process and how long it will be retained for.

We are required to notify you of this information, under the new General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (GDPR) which replaces the Data Protection Regulation (Directive 95/46/EC). Please ensure that you read this notice (sometimes referred to as a ‘privacy notice’) and any other similar notice we may provide to you from time to time when we collect or process personal information about you.

DATA PROTECTION PRINCIPLES

Personal data shall be:

  • obtained only for one or more specified and lawful purposes, and shall not be further processed in any manner incompatible with that purpose or those purposes.

THE KIND OF INFORMATION WE HOLD ABOUT YOU

In connection with your Nanny search, for domestic staff recruitment purposes, we will collect, store and use the following categories of personal information about you:

• The information you have provided to us on the phone, by email or filling our online form including but not limited to, name, title, address, home and personal telephone number and personal email address
• Description of the services you require and you provided to us
• Information about your family, your nationality children and interests you provided to us;
• Languages spoken at home
• Invoices and / or receipts issued by us to you.

The information provided by you are necessary for us to assist you with your search and match candidates with your requirements.

HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED?

What information is being collected?

We collect your personal data (such as name and contact details, language spoken at home) when we receive it directly from you such as where you contact us proactively (by phone, email, in person) or where you connect with our consultants on business networking sites or through our consultant’s business development activities more generally. We may seek more information about you from analysing online and offline media and we may be supplied with information about you by Candidates (for example when you are named as a referee).

DATA SHARING

Why might you share my personal information with third parties?

We will share your information to potential candidates for the purpose of securing you a Nanny/Governess/Maternity Nurse or any other Domestic staff as set out on the registration form.

We will only share your personal information with the following third parties for the purposes of processing your search:

  • Assist you with your candidate search;

  • Enable us to match candidates that may be suitable and are able to provide the services required

  • Arrange interviews with candidates who may be suitable for a position with you;

  • Meet our own obligations to HMRC and other regulatory bodies.

We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes.

DATA SECURITY

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal information to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need-to-know. They will only process your personal information on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so.

DATA RETENTION

How long will you use my information for?
We will retain your personal information for a period of 24 months after we have communicated to you our decision about whether to appoint you. After this period, we will securely destroy your personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
If we wish to retain your personal information on file we will write to you separately, seeking your explicit consent to retain your personal information for a fixed period on that basis.

RIGHTS OF ACCESS, CORRECTION, ERASURE, AND RESTRICTION

Your rights in connection with personal information
Under certain circumstances, by law you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal information (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
  • Request correction of the personal information that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate information we hold about you corrected..
    Request erasure of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal information where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal information where you have exercised your right to object to processing (see below).
  • Object to processing of your personal information where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal information for direct marketing purposes.
  • Request the restriction of processing of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of personal information about you, for example if you want us to establish its accuracy or the reason for processing it.
    Request the transfer of your personal information to another party.

When you contact Worldwide Nanny to help you with your nanny or domestic staff , you provided consent on the date of registration with us to process your personal information for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. You have the right to withdraw your consent for processing for that purpose at any time. To withdraw your consent, please contact Sonia Mateos via contact@worldwidenanny-uk.com with subject line “GDPR Requests”. Once we have received notification that you have withdrawn your consent, we will no longer process your personal information and, subject to our retention policy, we will dispose of your personal data securely.
